“We met in early 2011 and e had an instant connection. We became good friends right away. Losing both our Fathers has brought us closer as couple, learning to deal with life’s challenges in an early stage of our relationship.
We started talking about getting married and I told Shaun that this would be the ultimate test of how well he knows me. Shaun proposed in July 2012 on a family hunting trip in Ellisras, passing the test with flying colors as my father was a bow hunter and the bush is where I find peace and relaxation.
It wasn’t until the beginning of January 2013 that we started planning our wedding. Finding my way through Google, we visited 2 venues. The last venue was Kearsney Manor in Stanger. Driving on the dirt road through the sugar cane the 100 year old Chapel revealed itself. It was breathtaking and the venue was as good as sold! Guinevere made our day almost seem effortless from the very first day.
The big day finally arrived, and everything was just perfect. The food was divine, our DJ and band was great entertainment, and the photo booth was a big hit with all our family and friends taking silly photos most of the night!
A special thanks to Guinevere and Graham from Kearsney Manor, Nicki from Forever After Bridal Boutique, Bridget from Create my day, and our photographer Jules for making our dream day possible! You guys are the best!
Lots of love;
Mr & Mrs Tucker”
